Costa del Maresme

Today I'll tell you about the Costa del Maresme one of the oldest and most picturesque resorts of Spain, which has attracted tourists for many decades.
The ancient seaside town of Malgrat de Mar is located on the border of the provinces of Barcelona and Gerona. In the last 10 years it’s become one of the most modern and affluent resorts of the Costa del Maresme. Huge sandy beaches washed by the clean calm sea, stretch along the city waterfront and beyond for many miles
City is divided into two parts - the historical part, preserved in its original form, known as the "old town", and the modern part, built by numerous hotels and entertainment centers, called "new town". Waterfront Passeig Maritim connects the old town with the newest tourist area, smoothly blending into the next resort of the coast - Santa Susanna. Along the waterfront, serving the favorite place for walking of tourists, the modern hotels are built, interspersed with the staggering array of bars, cafes, nightclubs, discos, souvenir shops offering all kinds of fashionable clothes, expensive jewelry and perfume.

Travel Center of Santa Susanna (55 km to Barcelona) offers the most modern hotels on the Catalan coast. The charming old Catalan town of Santa Sussan is known as one of the most developed tourist resorts of the Costa del Maresme. Its spacious, sandy beaches are less crowded than the beaches of the larger resorts and are ideal for families with children. The historical part of town is situated on the picturesque hills covered with dense plants. Here you can see the majestic watchtower of the 16th century, and the renovated castle Castell de Can Rates. Now its territory is the cultural and artistic center. Near the old town the beautiful park Parque Natural de la Font del Boter is situated.
After reading about this resort and looking photos immediately falls in love with it. But to really enjoy its beauty, you need to come here.
